ORDERING INFORMATION


Payment

Our website accents all major credit cards as well as Apple Pay. If you prefer to pay via Venmo, Zelle or Pay Pal send us an email and we can invoice you via your chosen payment method.

Delivery

Each item from Jill Courtemanche Millinery is made by hand in our Orange County Atelier. Quality and attention to detail are our highest priority and can take a little extra time, so please allow up to three weeks for delivery on your custom hats and/or bridal pieces. We will do our very best to accommodate rush orders. Please make any notes in regards to your order in the comments section when checking out and be sure to include your phone number or email so we can contact you with any questions. It is also a good idea to keep in mind that we have a whole store full of hats besides what you see here on our website. If you don't see exactly what you are looking for, or need a piece in a pinch, just send us an email with a picture of your outfit and we will get right back to you with some fabulous options that are ready to go.

Shipping & Handling

All *full price hats come wrapped in a signature JCM hatbox and are shipped inside a carton.

We offer free pick up at our studio in Irvine, CA. If you choose this option at check out, we will contact you to arrange a time for you to come by. Please note all hats must be picked up within 10 days of purchase.

We offer ground shipping for $5.50 per item via UPS, FedEx or USPS within the United States and all packages are insured for the full purchase price. If you need your hat shipped in an expedited fashion, please note this in the comments section and include your phone number. We will contact you in a speedy fashion to arrange this and advise you of the additional charges. 

For international orders we charge a flat fee of $85.00 per item and we will choose the best shipping method for your country. If you have a preferred shipping carrier or need your hat urgently, just leave us a note in the comments section of your order and we will contact you to make the arrangements. Please note that we do not charge sales tax on international orders but any/all customs charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Once your hat is made and ready to ship, you will receive an email from us with all of the tracking information.

*Sale hats do not come packed in a hatbox. If you would like to purchase a hatbox for your hat they are $20.00 each.

Sales Tax

Applicable state sales tax will be added to all orders shipped within the United States. There is no sales tax on Gift Certificates or Workshops. We do not charge sales tax on international orders but any/all customs charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Return Policy

Because each of our items is made to order, we are not able to offer returns or exchanges. We encourage you to ask questions up front to avoid any confusion.

Sizing

To attain your proper head-size, wrap a soft tape measure around your head, (across the middle of your forehead) and measure the circumference. An average head-size for a woman is 22" to 22.5" and for a man 23" to 23.5". We suggest leaving a fingers width of room in when you measure for comfort.

During the check-out process, a box will come up asking you to choose your head size and you can specify this information for us then. 

Of course, we can make your hat in any size so if you don't see your size listed, write it into the comments section at checkout and we will be sure to get you the perfect fit. 

Custom Designs

We welcome the opportunity to create a custom piece for your special occasion! Whether it is as simple as a custom color, fabric, or trim to match your outfit, or an over the top fascinator for Royal Ascot, we will work with you to create that special piece.
